Looking for a snack you can enjoy in unlimited amounts?!! OK, that’s a trick question. I’m talking about Exercise Snacks! Exercise snacks are short bursts of movement that you sprinkle in throughout your day, lasting from 1 to 5 minutes at a time, with the intention of getting your heart rate up. They aren’t meant to replace your regular workout but to give your body little doses of activity that add up!
You might be asking, “Why does this even matter?” The truth is, most of us spend hours sitting. First at work, then at home after a long day. All that sitting can seriously impact our health, but exercise snacks give us a simple way to fight back and bring movement back into daily life.
All movement counts. Even small actions help your body and mind.
You don’t have to be perfect.
Consistency matters.
